Regardless of what outfit you’re going to wear or what job offer you are going to take, life is about choices. Each and every choice you make takes you down a different path. That path could be prosperous or average.
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act but instead a habit." There is a lot of truth to this quote by Aristotle. Successful people habitually make conscious choices that will benefit his or her life. They are also have good habits.
What three things would encompass a successful life? Simply put, what is key is having a mind, body and soul that is in perfect balance.
Choosing to sharpen our skills in whatever we do to put food on the table and a roof over our head is a smart choice. Choosing to eat right and exercise is a healthy choice. It’s difficult to be happy in an unhealthy body. Being in harmony with our spirituality can only lead to good morals and values. These things in turn will effect those around you in a positive way.
Successful people often times research their decisions or pay an expert for their advice or service. It makes sense to pay an expert if it frees up time to concentrate on doing the things that offsets the investment.
In life we are either in an up ward or a down ward spiral. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a relationship, a career or our health. We must protect our selves when our life is in an up ward spiral. We must do everything in our power to get on the path of success when things are down.
There are many things that can take us out of the Success Zone. The ground on top is very fragile. Some examples that can break this delicate balance are as follows:
- Major health issues
- Career loss
- Legal issues
- Identity theft
- Character Theft
- DMV
- Social Security
- Medical Information (MIB)
- Credit Card
- Family issues
- Death
- Divorce
- Personal issues
- Addiction
- Gambling
- No Personal Growth
- Low Self Esteem
- Low Confidence
Why do these issues cause some to loose everything and others to prevail?
The reasons are many but many of the people that prevailed did the following:
- Maintained a Healthy Lifestyle
- Never Stopped Learning
- Worked on Personal Growth
- Secured Protection in the form of Insurance
- Made Better Career or Business Choices
Our Blog will touch on all these areas.
